I am writing a guide on the best times to go fishing.
Ultimately for carp you want the water temperature (not the air temperature to be around 20-25 degrees.
A few warm days will rise the temperature of the water, though you need to understand that the air temperature is vastly different to the water temperature.
Having a weather app reading the weather maps will ensure you pick the best days.
one main thing is to read the barometer and pick days based on the forecast.
A reading of air pressure or high air pressure around 1015-1025 is high pressure, the fish will be actively feeding around that time.
Another thing to look out for is fluctuating air pressure.
Reading the actual Barometer while out fishing using apps can tell you if the air pressure is fluctuating and if it is worth fishing at that time, fluctuating air pressure can be a good time to fish.
hope this helps
